All woods meant for the PB Selection gun stocks undergo scrupulous evaluation and quality control, both by our expert Italian gunsmiths, who have inherited centuries-old knowledge of the raw material, and by the most technologically advanced machinery.
Tomography makes it possible to probe and create a threedimensional section of the interior of the wood, to verify the absence of imperfections and any knots that might compromise the workmanship of the stock makers
The grip on the wooden stocks and forends is hand-checkered, by using different textures, while the natural or glossy finish is applied by hand, reaching up to 80 layers, such as when the Tru-Oil® is selected.
